What Is Your Strategy of Investing?

  • We at Vivek Finserve are followers of time-tested investment strategy. We don’t fall to market fads and fancy things.
  • We are firm believers in what Sir John Templeton has said “the four most dangerous words in investing are – this time its different”.
  • We look at what the funds are bringing to table viz pedigree, fund management style, walk the talk to say a few. We try to bridge the investors time frame to the fund category where the investment is done.
  • We are firm believers in asset allocation & behavioural finance. We try to control the controllables, we try to keep investments simple.

What Are Steps You Follow When We Meet to Do Investments?

We follow a rigorous step by step strategy to invest your money.
Key steps are

  • Determining current financial status of investor.
  • Discussing why he wants to invest & time frame of investments.
  • Assessing risk tolerance. Laying out key risks and rewards for investors.
  • Aligning investments to strategic milestones e.g., Child education/marriage, retirement, family holidays, buying big assets like house, cars etc.
  • Executing the investments.
  • Keeping a check on investment performance by minimum one interaction in a quarter.

Investing Is Very Simple What Steps Do You Follow to Exit?

  • It is important for any investor to divest its holdings and exit in the most profitable manner. As such, exit strategies are a very critical part of undertaking investments. We at Vivek Finserve follow a regular review of investments strategy.
  • We look to the timelines of the investors milestone and select products accordingly. We don’t exit on the date of milestone; exit is gradual and over time. We during our quarterly interaction with investors ask the investors and make them aware of our important dates, it is a team approach that we have at the time of investment & exit.
  • Along with key market metrics like p/e, p/b we also keep track of investors asset allocation. Asset allocation is the key to achieve milestones during our investment cycle.
